From start to finish the process of producing your bespoke gown or garment takes six months, prices for a bespoke gown or outfit start at €1800.
First Appointment – Introduction
Once you’ve made an appointment for a consultation online or over the phone, we’ll meet in person at the atelier. We’ll discuss initial ideas, style preferences, fabric choices, budget and timeline. I’ll take your measurements and make some sketches. We’ll then make plans for your follow-up appointments and I’ll take your first deposit.
Second Appointment – Design
The second appointment is usually between 6-8 weeks later. I’ll present you with a simple cotton toile garment made to your measurements. With this garment we can make adjustments, finalise the design and fit. This will then be the basis for the pattern used for the final garment.
Third Appointment – Fitting
This appointment is usually two months before your big day. The base garment will be ready for you to try on and for me to make any adjustments, as well as confirm any embellishments or additions.
Fourth Appointment – Second Fitting
In this appointment all the individual elements will be ready and you’ll get a sense of what the final gown or garment will look like. You’ll try the garment on with your shoes or heels so I can finalise the hem line.
Fifth Appointment – Final Fitting
This appointment is usually four weeks before pick-up. We’ll discuss any final elements and finalise your garment. Any accessories such as a hat or veil will be prepared for this fitting as well.
Pick-up
At least one week before your big day, your garment will be ready for you to pick-up.
